One of the newest facilities supporting this growth is Amajani Gorilla Lodge, located in Kanungu District. Amajani Gorilla Lodge is situated in Nyamishamba Village, Kayonza Sub-County, Kanungu District. Its strategic position near Bwindi Impenetrable Forest makes it ideal for tourists who want to experience gorilla trekking. The lodge is about 40 kilometers from Kihihi Airstrip, and visitors can use the free shuttle service provided. By road, it takes approximately nine to ten hours to travel from Kampala, Uganda’s capital, making air travel a more convenient option for international tourists.
